Volcanic ash cloud over Tintern?
Submitted by Guests Comments on 22 April 2010 - 9:33amWe are grateful that all the cottage guests incluing the international contingent, have been able to come and go with no problems caused by flight delays. Spectacular blue skies for the last three weeks make it hard to believe there is a cloud of ash up there somewhere. It doesnt look as if it is over Tintern!

A celebratory week at Tintern Abbey Cottage
Submitted by Guests Comments on 18 April 2010 - 8:14pmThe week started with the excitement of a group of Latvian guests coming for the wedding of one of their number in Tintern. They had picture postcard perfect blue sky and warm sun, extraordinary in April and hopefully a sign that the marriage will be blessed too.
Fabulous photos taken in the Abbey and from our lawn with the Abbey behind. Congratulations!
