Having spent several days digging out the old floors and down several feet- we have now spent two days filling up the holes with hi tech insulation which should keep damp out and warmth in. The insulation looks like a nightclub floor- shiny silver "tres cool" , but is soon lost under a waterproof membrane and an awful lot of concrete....
