Christmas and New Year

We make a big fuss at our cottages for Christmas and New Year Christmas as this is a time of year we love ourselves. |
| There is a lot to do in the area and we can direct you to racing and carol singing, panto and skating in the open air . You can sit by our woodburners and open your own gifts by our fully decorated real trees fresh from the local forests or you can relax in our cosy bedrooms with their Christmas pretties. |  |

As the cottages have all mod cons as well as enormous traditional charm they make an excellently relaxing country style escape. Our kitchens can easily cope with festive meals but we are close to many excellent pubs and restaurants so why not take the effort out of it all and let them pamper you. Because we have it all we are often booked up well ahead,We are now taking bookings for 2009 and it is not advisable to delay for these special dates. |
| If you cannot come to us over the festivals themselves why not consider our Advent breaks during December. We decorate with everything except the actual tree and a break away lets you reunite with friends or enjoy the experience of shopping in our market towns or even take in a show in Cardiff. The highspot is probably the open air carol service in roofless Tintern Abbey by the light of genuine flaming torches and preceded by mulled wine. Breathtaking. |  |
