Croeso! Welcome! We are a family business of  two individually located  holiday Cottages in the glorious Natural Landscape of the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire, Wales and we look after our stylish properties and our very valued guests ourselves.  Come and breathe fresh air all year round , have a wonderful escape from the everyday,there is masses to see and do,  and  return to your well equipped comfortable base – to put your feet up.

Feeling good has no season. Eat. Swim. Dance. Sing.  Whatever your season and reason for coming to stay in Wales our Monmouthshire Holiday Cottages wait to welcome you. Come feel the Hwyl!

Not a complex, our two houses are about 2 miles apart. Each sleeps up to 6 and they are about the same overall size but the bedroom layout is different. Both are brilliantly well equipped, individually designed . Fittings and equipment are constantly updated for your comfort. Both cottages have a superking bed in the master bedroom. Both have  an EV charger for your electric vehicle.  Both have two bathrooms  and each house has two excellent showers  as well as a bathtub. Both have central heating, linens and towels included. Both have Hi speed wifi. Both have woodburners, fenced gardens and private parking. Foxes Reach also has a fabulous hot tub .

We replace  and update huge numbers of items at each cottage all year round and we have a busy ongoing programme of preventative maintenance.  We care that things remain smart for you- and we work hard to ensure this.

You can discover active fun or sit quietly   There is lots that is fresh and exciting to see and do , in all weathers, all year.

We have  amazing outdoor opportunities, in particular  walking, wild swimming, canoeing and kayaking, paddleboarding, birdwatching and cycling, but the list is endless. Push the boat out on our  lakes and rivers! Archery, riding, quad biking,  gorge scrambling or golf anyone?  Or sit in  a garden- even in winter  with a coat and a hot drink – and enjoy dark skies and sparkling stars!  Try “Forest Bathing”  by immersing yourself in our woodlands -Or pack a  picnic  and take a gentle stroll?  Monmouthshire is the Food Capital of Wales- making our cottages a perfect choice for a 5* foodie break with treats  to eat in or take away from the local pubs  or at the farmers markets  ( and our kitchens  let you cook  the treats you found yourself!).  We have starry Michelin places too with elegant delicacies  and enviable wine cellars.

We are pet friendly, unusually well equipped, conveniently set – We are in the heart of the famously lovely Wye Valley Natural Landscape ( aka Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) , near Offa’s Dyke, the Royal Forest of Dean, on The Wye Valley Walk ,  the Monmouthshire Way,  and so easy for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Our guests find  heating on, tables laid for dinner, beds ready to slip into.
